The Vietnamese American Association of Michigan (VAAM) was established in 2008, through a public election by Vietnamese Americans in Michigan. VAAM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the Internal Revenue Code.  VAAM’s mission is to preserve the Vietnamese culture and heritage, to assist underprivileged Vietnamese Americans with healthcare, social and civic issues, and to accelerate the integration process into the mainstream American society.

As VAAM grows to meet the service demand of Vietnamese American residents in Michigan, it is in constant need of volunteers, who are the rock foundation for non-profit work. If you can lend a hand or share an hour, please join us. Together we can make great things happen in Michigan.
