ESL – English as Second Language
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
(ESL) WORKSHOP
Course Description
Our English as a Second Language (ESL) workshop is mainly targeted to new and senior immigrants. It is not intended to teach students how to read and write beautiful articles in English or to be perfect in this language. It is intended to help participants to learn some practical words and simple sentences so that they are able to communicate, with others in this country in daily life and feel comfortable conducting normal business. Our ESL classes are taught by bilingual teachers and are different from other ESL classes offered to the general public because they are tailored to Asian culture. This setting is designed to reduce the anxiety and fear of learning both a new language and a new culture.
